Weaver’s Shed

We started building a shed surrounded by the woods that would be dedicated to weaving over ten years ago.  This naturally cleared area in the bush just up the hill from where we live seemed ideal for such a project.  Over the years we built a platform, erected walls, and added vinyl siding and windows and a metal roof as materials came our way.  For the past three days we nailed down plywood, strung wire, added insulation, sheeted plastic, installed electrical boxes, and then put up panelling.  It is at a stage where it can be used in a rudimentary fashion, but greater yet, it can now be heated and worked on in more inclement weather, and that is a great relief.

It is now beautiful in its simplicity…
